My years of experience as a stylist in the film industry inspired me to create timeless designs that combine authenticity and functionality. Each item is named after iconic film legends, a subtle nod to my love of cinema. This means that every design I create not only has a practical function, but also a story that makes it special. What drives me is my fascination with materials. I work with 100% vegetable-tanned leather of the highest quality, sourced from organic livestock farms. This natural material feels like a second skin and offers endless possibilities for combining beauty and sustainability. My studio is located in an old distillery in the Jordaan, a vibrant neighbourhood in Amsterdam that perfectly matches the creative energy of Catwalk Original. Here, I work with my hands, my heart and my head to create each design with care. For me, a bag or accessory is not just a utility item, but a piece of craftsmanship that should last a lifetime. As French designer Andree Putman said: ‘I love beauty and utility, and even more so beauty in utility.’ That sentiment sums up everything I do.
